I love popcorn and the smell is just to die for… but it’s usually covered in powdered sugar and the salty stuff just doesn’t do it for me!
So I came up with this healthier version.
Tastes and smells delicious, now I can watch a movie with the perfect snack but I have to portion it off otherwise I would eat the lot in one go! Enjoy…
Yields: Makes a lot….
- 1 cup popcorn
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp raw cacoa or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp honey
Cook the popcorn as packet instructions. Easiest and quickiest way is to use your microwave.
Once the popcorn is cooked, melt the coconut oil and add cacoa and honey until combined.
Pour the mixture over the popcorn and stir and shake until all the popcorn is covered.
If you like, you can save half before pouring the chocolate mixture over and have half plain/half chocolate (as in the pic)
